Your coach plans around what you actually ran. Pick the path that matches what you run with — one is enough.
You run with an iPhone or an Apple Watch
Get the Steev iPhone app and connect Apple Health. Runs that land in Health — from an Apple Watch, the iPhone itself, or another running app that writes to Health — sync on their own, in the background or the next time you open the app. Set up Apple Health.
You run with a Garmin
Add the Steev field to your watch's Run screen and pair it once with a code. Your runs go from the watch to Steev through Garmin Connect on your phone, laps included — no Steev app needed. Set up the Garmin field.
Garmin Connect can also write your runs to Apple Health, but those arrive without laps or a route. The field sends more.
You run without a watch
Log each run by hand, or just tell your coach how it went. Log a run by hand.
More than one
Connect as many as you like. A run you logged by hand and the same run synced later stay one workout, as long as the day and the distance or time you logged roughly match.
