Best for
Velociti Pro 2 is built for race-day training, with an injected glass-filled plate that is less stiff than carbon but still snappy underfoot. Around it sit lightweight, responsive foam, a minimal Leno-weave upper and a light, durable rubber outsole, at an 8 mm drop.
It suits you for tempo runs, intervals and track workouts, and for the hard days that come before a race. Think of it as the shoe for the hard days of the week. At 249 g it keeps the legs quick without the extremes of a carbon shoe.
It is not an easy-day or long-run shoe. The plate pushes you toward pace and the minimal upper is a speed build, so keep a softer trainer for recovery and big mileage.
