The Charged+ Assert 11 is the cheapest running shoe Under Armour makes, the eleventh version of a line that has always aimed at doing enough. One slab of Charged+ foam sits under a mesh upper, and a full rubber outsole survives the gym and the walking this pair gets.
It suits you if you are starting to run, or want a cheap second pair for the days that are not really training. At 289 g it is not light, but it is neutral, plain and comfortable from the first wear. Move up the range once your weeks get longer.
It is not a shoe for a serious training week. There is no plate and no clever foam, so the cushioning gives less back the further a run goes. Under Armour publishes no offset and no stack height, which is a fair signal of what it is sold on.
