Best for
Max Cushioning Elite 3 is a vegan lace-up for the runner who wants a lot of foam. A 51 mm stack and a 7 mm drop sit under an engineered mesh upper, an Air-Cooled Goga Mat insole softens the step-in, and NRT, Natural Rocker Technology, rolls you smoothly from heel to toe.
It suits you for easy and long runs when your legs are tired and you want to be carried rather than coaxed along. The rocker does the work of keeping the stride smooth as the miles pile up.
It is not a nimble shoe. With that much stack there is little feel for the road underneath, and nothing in the build is aimed at speed. Use something lower for strides and workouts.
