A full-length carbon-infused plate sits inside a Hyper Burst midsole, the heel stack is 37 mm, and the 4 mm drop tips you further forward than the rest of the line does. Skechers builds it for speed days and is happy to sell it to you for race day too.
It suits you if you already own a soft daily trainer and want something with snap in it for intervals, tempo blocks and a half marathon.
It is not a super-shoe and it is not a first pair. At 241 grams it is heavier than a stripped-down racer, and the plate reads firm underfoot at easy paces. Save it for the days you actually mean to run hard.
