The Aero Razor revives Skechers' Razor name inside the AERO range and is the lightest running shoe the brand currently sells. Hyper Burst Pro foam gives it 36 mm at the heel and a 4 mm drop, with a forefoot wing rather than a plate doing the work at toe-off. Skechers calls it a daily trainer that can pick up the pace, and that is a fair description.
It suits you if you dislike heavy shoes and would rather feel the road than sit on top of foam. At 196 grams it is race-shoe weight without race-shoe rules.
It is not a max-cushion trainer, and it will not protect tired legs the way the taller Aero Burst does. If your long runs leave you sore, this is the wrong shoe to do them in.
