Max Cushion

Saucony Triumph 23

The plush, high-cushion end of the Saucony range — PWRRUN PB for long runs and tired legs rather than fast ones.

The Triumph 23 is the soft one. A full PWRRUN PB midsole sits under a 37 mm heel with a 10 mm drop, which is a lot of foam to land on and a familiar shape to run in. It is built for long runs and for the days after them, when what you want underfoot is protection rather than feedback.

It suits you if your legs are the thing that limits your week. The cushioning is genuinely deep and the ride stays smooth rather than bouncy.

At roughly 263 g it is not light, and nothing about it wants to run a workout. Buy it as the cushioned half of a rotation and put something quicker on your feet for intervals and race day.
