Saucony Guide 19

Saucony's everyday support trainer — mild guidance under a broad, cushioned base for runners who want structure.

The Guide 19 is a support shoe that does not feel like one. Saucony's CenterPath guidance works with your alignment rather than shoving against it, so a 39 mm heel and a 6 mm drop give you a broad, stable platform without a wedge under your arch.

It suits you if your form drifts late in a run, or if a neutral trainer leaves your ankles working harder than the rest of you. Daily miles and long runs are what it is aimed at, and it comes in wide.

It is not corrective and it is not quick. At around 278 g the Guide is a steady, everyday shoe, and a runner with no support needs will simply find it heavier than a plain trainer.
