Best for
The Endorphin Speed 6 is Saucony's purpose-built tool for faster training days. Against the previous Speed it swaps in a lighter, softer PWRRUN PBX foam and a reshaped nylon plate, which gives increased propulsion and smoother transitions, under a breathable, lightweight mesh upper. The drop is 8 mm.
It suits you for tempo runs, intervals and shorter races on the road, when you want a plated shoe that is lively enough for speed and neutral enough for most runners.
It is not an easy-day shoe and not a marathon racer. A plate that nudges you toward pace is the wrong tool for recovery runs, so keep something plainer in the bag for them.
