The Endorphin Pro 5 is Saucony's mainline carbon racer, the shoe most of its runners actually toe a start line in. The midsole fuses PWRRUN PB with supercritical PWRRUN HG under a new slotted carbon plate that sharpens the SpeedRoll tip-forward, and a PWRTRAC rubber outsole is there so the shoe survives being trained in, not just raced.
It suits you if you want one plated shoe for both the race and the sharpening weeks before it — quicker than the Speed, less committed than the Elite. Saucony's own framing is exactly that: the do-everything race shoe below the flagship.
It is not the maximum-return option — that is the Elite 3 at fifty dollars more — and like every plated racer it is wasted on easy days. Saucony prints no weight or stack on the product page, so judge the fit on foot rather than off a spec sheet.
