The Echelon 10 is the shoe for feet that other running shoes do not fit. It is built broad, with a wide toe box, room inside for a custom orthotic, and soft PWRRUN cushioning over a 38 mm heel with an 8 mm drop. The base is deliberately wide so the whole platform stays steady under you.
It suits you if you wear orthotics, need extra volume, or want support and room rather than a snug performance fit. Wide and extra-wide versions go further still.
It is not a running shoe in the sporting sense. At around 287 g it is heavy, the ride is deliberately dull, and nothing about the shape rewards picking up the pace. Easy running and long days on your feet are what it is for.
