Dual-density NITROFOAM sits on a midsole wider than the rest of the range, the RUNGUIDE system keeps the foot centred through the stride, and a 10 mm drop makes the landing familiar. PUMA is unusually direct about who it built the shoe for: it recommends overpronators.
It suits you if your foot rolls inward and you want that held in check without a hard post under the arch. Easy days, steady days and the long run all sit inside the brief.
It is not light and it is not quick. There is no plate and no rocker, and a wide, dense midsole is not free — the weight you feel in a session is what holds you steady late in a long run. If you do not actually need the support, buy the Velocity instead.
