The Cloudultra Peak is the short, steep end of On's trail range, fine-tuned for technical courses where power and agility count. A dual-density Helion midsole gives energy return inside a CloudTec system engineered for stability, and the low stack keeps the weight to about 229 g at a 4 mm drop. A Missiongrip outsole grips below and a breathable, abrasion-resistant Matryx upper wraps the foot.
It suits you for short, steep, technical trail runs and races, where you want to feel the ground and move quickly over it.
It is not a long-distance cushioned shoe. The low stack gives up softness, so it is a poor choice for easy days or for hours on your feet.
