The 003 is norda's laceless approach shoe, pitched for hiking, scrambling and running. A seamless Dyneema upper handles durability, a Vibram SLE Foam midsole carries a 26 mm stack at a 5 mm drop, and the Vibram Litebase Megagrip sole grips underneath. At about 275 g and $295 it asks real money for a shoe that dispenses with laces.
It suits you if your trail runs shade into scrambling or hiking and you want one durable shoe for all of it, with no laces to tie, retie or snag.
It is not a racing shoe or a big-cushion shoe for long days, and a 26 mm stack will not give you a soft ride. It is also not a cheap shoe, so it rewards someone who wears it hard.
