NNormal Cadí

NNormal's everyday trail shoe — a 35 mm heel of supercritical foam and Vibram Megagrip, built for comfort rather than speed.

The Cadí is NNormal's approachable shoe, built for trail runners of every level rather than for racing. A supercritical foam midsole gives it a 35 mm heel, and the Vibram Megagrip outsole underneath is tuned for smooth and rolling ground rather than for bog. The woven upper is shaped off the Kjerag last but with a roomier toe box, which is most of why it stays comfortable late on.

It suits you if most of your trail running is everyday miles on paths that roll, and you want the shoe to disappear underneath you. If your ground is steep and broken, the Kjerag is the one in NNormal's range built for it.

It is not a technical mountain shoe. The lugs are too shallow for steep, soft ground, and the platform is too tall and too soft for the precise footwork a rocky descent asks of you.
