The Vomero Plus takes the Vomero idea and drops the ReactX layer: full-length ZoomX, a 45 mm heel stack, and a 10 mm drop. It is softer, lighter and springier than the Vomero 18, which makes it the easy-day shoe for runners who want maximum foam without maximum weight.
That much soft foam has a cost. It is less settled than a firmer trainer on cambered roads and through tight turns, and ZoomX does not last as long as an everyday midsole foam.
It is not a workout shoe. There is no plate and nothing in it rewards a hard effort. Run your easy and long miles here, and put something with structure on for the sessions.
