The ACG Pegasus Trail is what became of the Pegasus Trail line when Nike moved its trail running under the relaunched ACG banner in 2026 — the version number is gone, the shoe is not. It carries more ReactX foam on a higher stack than the Trail 5, a new-generation All Terrain Compound outsole for wet ground, and a wider forefoot for stability when the surface tilts.
It suits you if your trails are scenic rather than savage: gravel, forest paths, moderately technical ground, and the road kilometres that connect them.
It is not a mountain shoe. For real technical terrain or race-day propulsion Nike points at the Zegama and Ultrafly above it, and this one's road-friendly manners are exactly what you trade.
