XFlow Speed technology blends dual supercritical nitrogen-infused TPU and EVA around an inner core, under a Power Wire mesh upper and a FriXion XF outsole. That gets you a 34 mm stack and a 6 mm drop for only 255 g, which is plush foam without much to carry.
It suits you if you race or train hard on trails and want to keep moving on technical ground, whether in tempo efforts, technical racing or long days.
It is not a durable everyday workhorse. A light, racing-oriented build leaves less margin for daily abuse than a heavier trainer, and it gives up the sheer protection of a bulkier, more cushioned shoe.
