The Roadfly Max is inov-8's cushioned answer to the Roadfly, a road shoe built for longer runs. A thick FLYSPEED Pro foam midsole targets maximum shock absorption and energy return, an ADAPTERFLEX groove helps it flex, and a lighter BOOMERANG footbed sits above an INOV8 Rubber outsole. The stack is 24 mm, the drop 6 mm, and standard and wide fits are on offer.
It suits long and easy runs on the road, for runners who want a protective neutral shoe with room in the fit when they need the wide option.
It is not a fast shoe. At about 275 g it is no lightweight, and the deep foam favours cushion over a sharp feel, so tempo work belongs to a lighter pair.
