Best for
The Skyflow borrows the premium geometry of HOKA's Skyward X and fills it with upgraded foam. Super-critically foamed EVA gives an extra cushy, springy ride, a heel-focused Active Foot Frame cradles the foot, and an early-stage MetaRocker with a smooth forefoot rocker encourages easy strides. The drop is 5 mm.
It suits easy and long road miles, for runners who want a cushioned, rockered neutral shoe with an extra durable outsole under it. The rocker does a lot of the work, so strides come easily even when the legs are tired.
It is not a speed shoe. At about 283 g it favours comfort over pace, so use something lighter for tempo runs and races, and do not expect it to feel sharp.
