The Arahi is Hoka's light support shoe. Rather than a medial post, it uses a firmer J-shaped frame that wraps the heel and the inside edge, so the correction comes from the shape of the foam instead of a hard wedge under your arch.
It suits you if your foot collapses inward once you get tired and you have never got on with traditional stability shoes. The support is there when you need it and mostly out of the way when you do not, and the shoe is light enough that easy days are not a chore.
It is not a maximum-control shoe. If you overpronate severely, or you have been told to look for motion control, this will not be firm enough. It is not fast either, and it is happiest at conversational pace.
