Best for
The Experience Flow ST adds GuideRail medial guidance to Altra's approachable low-drop road trainer. The 32 mm stack and 4 mm drop carry over from the previous Experience Flow, with a new lightweight EGO P35 foam and a rocker shape to keep the ride rolling forward.
It suits runners who want a little help staying centred on easy road miles, and walkers too, and who would rather have a low drop than the traditional heel of a stability shoe. The mid-level cushion is comfortable enough for daily running.
It is not a firm corrective shoe, and it is not built for tempo work or racing. The guidance is meant to be inherently stable rather than strict, so anyone needing heavy-handed control should look elsewhere.
