The Takumi Sen is the small, sharp end of the Adizero line. Lightstrike Pro sits under a set of ENERGYRODS 2.0 for a stiff, snappy toe-off, and at 188 g there is very little shoe to move around.
It suits you over 5K and 10K, on the track, and in the sessions where you want the shoe to disappear and your cadence to do the work.
It is not a marathon shoe and it is not a trainer. At 32 mm in the heel it sits a long way below the super-shoes it shares a midsole with, the 7 mm drop leaves your calves nowhere to hide, and a long slow run in these wastes a racing shoe you will not get many miles out of.
